Ghost in the shell

One of the best animations I have seen almost as good as Akira it brings to light the concept of "ghost" the soul and "shell" the body. The main figure is a cybernetic cop who has serious question of her existence. She is merged with the entity "puppet master". Very good art and a nice deep plot with serious action. I love some of the lines in this movie they almost predict the coming age of cyber-philosophy. Vampire Hunter D

Soooo much a classic but still a very very good example of how really good a basic anime tale can be, it is almost one of the first anime horrors I can even remember seeingand although the art isn't the best in the world the plot and extreme gore make up for that two fold... This Akira and Ghost I would say would be the first anime movies I ever watched in repatition and helped to whet my appitite for anime... I have the script online if ya wanna read it, this movie is well worth owning... if you don't own it buy it if you can't buy it steal it if you don't have arms and can't steal it pretend like you have seen it and talk about how cool it is to watch over and over and over

Akira Another one of the best animation movies this is most likely my best friends all time favorite. The art, plot and use of the abilities is amazing. Bascically a wonderful story executed wonderfully. There are also comics for it. The main character is a test subjest for the neo-tokyo project that is based on the boy "akira" who holds pure energy. Urusei Yatsura

Lum more or less got me into this site and collecting anime my first wep page I ever did (even before the blunt page) was for her she is still my dream gurl and always will be. Lum makes me happy more and more every time I see her. She is so kind so cute. Not to mention the fact that she is the most dedicated girlfriend there has ever been. She is an alien lightning spitting demon and she keeps a good track on her boyfriend Ataru. Urusei Yatsura is the comic about lum and her friends. In short Urusei Yatsura means "those obnoxious aliens" Her mother is also a very exquisite woman and there is a huge cast of crazy charachters. I did a picture of lum and a shrine to her. She would definatly be a person I could end up being obsessivly in love with for the remaining years of my mortal life and then some.

needs NO introduction perhaps one of the more well known anime movies this is one that I have seen, ALL THE WAY THROUGH IN ONE WHOLE DAY+ SOME, Deep plot sometimes overwhelming for feeble minded fools I personally love rei the most of all of the char's but whatever, I suggest this one for anyone that likes mechs and lil' girls, I liked the ending some people didn't but hey everyone dies sometime right?
